Posted by Terry Bjork Each year area resident Jeff DeVasher organizes quite a bash for Derby Listers and friends, and a good time is had by all. We're generally to be found under a small tent canopy out in the parking lot behind the bleachers. Anyone who has found his or her way to this podunk track forum would be a welcome guest at this event, so stop by and say hello, sample goodies and beverages, and wager on some interesting turf racing. For those who might not have seen the notice on the Derby List, the annual Kentucky Downs outing is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, the day they run their stakes races.
