Posted by Terry Bjork Seems the current owner of the land where the former Doncaster Ranch was located outside Twin Bridges, MT [just down the road form Robber's Roost], has taken it upon himself to restore and maintain the unique round horse barn where 1889 KY Derby winner Spokane was allegedly born. If you've been reading these stories for awhile you've no doubt stumbled across my visit to that location. So thanks much to this guy, Allan Hamilton. One day soon I shall get this article from the Great Falls Tribune scanned and posted here. I shed a tear.
