You'd think the motels/bars would be out beating the streets right now. I think if the sale doesn't go, the races won't either. Later, Jill

Miles City was "awarded" their 3 dates but all of our dates right now are tenative because Kalispell wants their 2 weekends as usual but Billings is able to run the last two days of the fair and that would be on KSP's opening weekend. Then of course during that week, the Crow fair has a 5 day meet. There are not enough horses or riders for 3 meets.
As far as I know everything is still up in the air. Shelby also got their weekend but asked Great Falls to take them if they couldn't pull it off. Great Falls said they would.
Because there are no dates in concrete, the stakes programs aren't printed as of yet. Trainers are looking at Lethbridge and other places while all this is ironed out.
Not much going on here. Damn cold and snowing. Broodmares aren't due until May and our runner is back from Canada.....she did pretty well....had to run against the boys her last race and ran 2nd until the wire....ended up 4th. Sent her to the last weekend of Lethbridge and entered her in the "Dating Game" stakes and she didn't get in cause she had no date. (no date for the dating game!!! ha! URGGHGHGHG!!)
Will check back to see what's happening.
