I think I did read an article at DRF I about Chuck Bedone. He was at Lone Star for awhile in recent years? If I remember right from my first trips to Lone Star they stuck him under a staircase on 1st floor. Looking fwd to opening of tbred season at new Opelousas Downs or whatever they are calling it. So much closer to Johnson's Grocery in Eunice than old Evangeline. And yet, so much further from all the delights of Breaux Bridge.

I don't know if the racing at Trinidad CO ever came back. Steve F. who stops by here every once in awhile might know.
