Hello to all Lioness's out there. I have a query. Are there any ACTIVE Lioness' aged over 90 years? We have a Lioness in District 201N1 who is approaching her 95th Birthday at the end of 2002 and still remains an active member of her Club - her daughter is also a member (in fact, I believe the daughter joined Mum up when she was approx. 86 !). I would be very interested to find out if we have any more senior Lionesses around. Maybe Marilyn Kineally might have some information ?
I am continuing in the role of District Chairman Lioness and Leos for 2002/2003 in 201N1. I was astounded to be awarded the D.G.'s Star Award at the recent Cabinet Changeover and I feel this is a reflection on the fantastic work being done by the Lioness Clubs in our District - I feel very proud to stand up at Cabinet as a LIONESS and report on the positive things happening in N1. My greatest challenge is to try to start up more Clubs in the District. If anyone has a relative or knows of anyone in this District who would want to become a Lioness if a Club was available please let me know or ask them to phone me.
