I tend to agree with Eds in this but it is clealrly a very uncertain tactical judgement.
Another tactical question to consider, I think, is the fragmentation of Leftist efforts online. Tony Christini made a suggestion for dealing with this in one Znet essay.

Regardless whether or not individual writers like Chonsky, Klein, and others appear in the corporate media, I think we shoudl ask why we have not pooled our efforts much more effectively by now.
Some people, maybe most, may see the fragmentation as a healthy decentralization, but I think some kind of umbrella group or publication should have been established by now that would already (if not rival) at least more effectively challenge the corporate press.
