I can do pretty well in that department. I am not familar with all the effects of chemo and radiation but suspect the wife might not be able to eat what I cook, but would be comforted in knowing the rest of the family has something easy to fix without her having to cook of feeling guilty because she doesn't have the energy to do so. They have a landscaping crew that does their yard work so that isn't a issue. One thing that I am doing though, is talking to some friends to get an idea of what she likes to read and then I can supply her with a lot of reading material.

Jeff, thank you for your comments. I am very touched that you would take the time to respond to my message. I have read a lot on this board concerning what you have been experiencing recently, and my heart goes out to you, your family. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers.
