I think in your case the book I have may not quite fit for you and may be more confusing, but I will give it to you so you can check to see if the author has similar books. She is an RN and a breast health consultant. The book is "Helping Your Mate Face Breast Cancer" by Judy C. Kneece. As I said, this title may be more confusing than good for a concerned friend such as yourself, but I would advise checking to see if the author has other titles more applicable to helping friends through this. In addition, please check out the website www.breastcancersupport.org because it has tips under the support link that you will find helpful. Good luck and please pray for a positive outcome for us. Tomorrow is the surgery and we will have a better idea of prognosis after we get the sentinel node results. My heart is breaking seeing this love of my life face this terrible ordeal.
