I admire those with the courage, love, and compassion to stand beside each other through all the things that have happened to them. I feel I am up to the task. I have been a caregiver myself and have seen many physical afflictions in my career. I have never thought to myself "how can the partner stand looking at this?" I have always thought, "Isn't it wonderful to see people sticking together through trials and illness, loving each other for what they have together." I have complete confidence that we were put together because I was very qualified for the "job" ahead of me. You are exactly right about the fact that breasts don't define her femininity to me, and shouldn't for anyone who is truly in love with their partner. I am just as attracted to her now as I was prior to the discovery of this tumor or the mastectomies. I have never been attracted to sex, but rather to the intimate emotional connection two people share when making love and in love. Sex without love has no meaning to me. Thank you for your reply
