I am trying to learn all I can and I appreciate the natural medicine leads. I believe in traditional medicine, but I like your approach. Natural medicine can be used in concert with traditional medicine. I am a healthcare professional but have always believed that my profession has made a mistake by shunning wholistic and natural medicine. I am happy to see some medical practitioners starting to adopt alternative medicine techniques. Although scientific research is still the best way to attack this disease I believe every patient can gain from listening to their own body and doing things that comfort and strengthen one's sense of well-being. Care must be taken when using some natural methods because they could interfere with treatment. It is always a good idea to check with your doctor to ask if he/she feels a natural remedy would interfere in some way. Most doctors are getting better about not just condemning natural methods and will at least tell you if they think there is any harm in using non-traditional methods. As far as support, I continue to be there, helping out with anything she feels she would like me to be involved in. I tell her often how pretty she is and how I am attracted to her. We have discussed the fact that I see the same person now that I did before her surgery. My view of her has not changed. I love her. I am attracted to her. I appreciate your quotes and the perspective they give about the things you prefer to hear. Every little point helps during this difficult time. When there are no words that can possibly describe the depth of my feelings, what I say and how it is said become VERY important. Thank you for your perspective. Rick
