Her skin gradually became more yellow in color and she slept more. All this occurred about 1 1/2 weeks before she died. Her periods of alertness gradually diminished until she was sleeping or semi-comatose for most of her last two days. She was able to communicate with us up until then albeit sporadically. I do remember clearly my younger sister, Monica, asking Marcie to forgive anything she'd ever said or done that may have hurt her...Marcie, of course, said there was nothing to forgive...oh my....I'm crying again.... Matti...carpe diem, sweetie...seize the day...today. Tell your loved ones how you feel now. Don't wait. I hope and pray you have much more time here to spend with them...and with us. God bless.
