We've known each other about 10 years and have been dating for three. I proposed last Christmas season when we brought this year's tree into the house. This summer, we planned on taking a lot of hikes and weekend camping trips. Nothing will stop us from that!

Thanks, Jeff. The phrase "not curable but treatable" has been repeating in my head for the longest time now; and I pray that this can be the case. I just cannot fathom why something like this has no cure yet, I really can't understand why from a scientific point of view. 
She is one of the smartest people I have ever known, and is homeschooling her three children. Ages 6, 7, and 8. They are all happy that I will be their stepfather soon, they've told me so! She is very much into cooking, and it is surprising to me that I'm not fat yet. She is a member of our volunteer fire department in the Support Services company; I am a member of the Aerial Ladder company. We both get so much joy out of doing that together.
