My girlfriend Arlene had breast cancer in 2003. Now it has come back. She had a tumor in her femur removed on Tuesday, but there are three lymph nodes in her neck and chest with tumors that cannot be removed. She will need chemotherapy to try to shrink them. Eventually, it is these tumors that are going to kill her; maybe in a year, maybe in 4. Not much more than that, I don't think.
