You are in a hugely shocked and grievous state Tom, and it must be hard to hold it together at all. Not knowing the nature of your relationship, exactly, in terms of your commitment to each other and so on, I just want to say I know you are in a tough position... if you are really committed, then people are gonna pressure you cuz you are 'only' friends to protect yourself and run rabbit, and if you aren't quite so certain and if you do need to change things, there's a whole different pressure. The fact you are here gives me a pretty good idea of which way you are leaning, but Tom, being a caregiver is a difficult row, and you can always come here and say what you want, and feel what you need.
