Posted by Thomas on 9/29/2007, 9:27 pm I Love her so much. Oh so also her nose is a little stuffy - she doesn't get far blowing it, and I'm happy that blowing it doesn't make her winded. (Thinking from a "lung quality" perspective.) They have her on a moisturized o2 line now, so that will hopefully help. She hates it, but knows she'd hate the mask more. I think that's about it. She's been real talkative, and about more and more stuff, too. She's watching Law & Order and probably going to be asleep soon. I hope they draw blood tonight, and see how the levels are - but that's just me, and I have to let go, let God, and let the doctors, too! I am feeling good, too. Getting some better rest now. She and I also received Communion today, which was nice. The man was in the Deaconate program and we just chatted and prayed for a while. She enjoyed that a lot. (I did too.)

She had a great day, today. Started off with a bigger breakfast, my mom visited, and she also had a bigger lunch, then. More movement, and she even got out of bed and into her chair!! She was exhausted after about an hour. They only pricked her once for blood today and say her levels are a little low. Not seriously low, but they may or may not try again tonight, from a vein around her ankle/foot. If not, they will try tomorrow morning and have to use her leg again. She hates that. (I've never felt it, so I don't know. I just know she squeezes my hand really hard!)
