Metastatic breast cancer CAN occur on the outer side of the skull. It can eventually penetrate the skull and lead to a multitude of problems with the central nervous system. Perhaps you can call the oncologist's office to schedule an appointment this week...stressing that this is a new development that needs attention right now. If it is a new malignancy, there are treatments available..targeting chemo and radiation. Please keep us posted. Take care, Di
