My mom was part of a dragonboat team for BC survivors and on Tuesday as a tribute we will be performing a version of a carnation ceremony during the funeral service. For those that don't know what that is, it is a ceremony with pink carnations, we will sway them back and forth to the song "the river". Each pink carnation symbolizes all that fight the Breast cancer beast,and for those who lost the battle. We intend to fill the church with pink carnations, and everyone has been asked to wear a touch of pink. Mom would love it!!
