Jack,
The pain in your post is almost palpable. I'm so sorry that you are going through this loneliness at a time when life should be getting easier, not harder.
If you wife loves you like she says she does, she should be willing to get the counseling that Tom suggests. Maybe the two of you will have to separate despite counseling, but at least you will know that you gave your marriage every opportunity to survive.
