We escaped from the hospital on the afternoon of April 28 --- a total of 20 days incarcerated. Wendy is now affected by 'hospitalitis': a general body weakness caused by so much time spent just lying in bed. She has to use a walker and a rehabilitation therapist is scheduled to come out to our house because she can no longer drive.
During our hospital vacation, her sisters took it upon themselves to make our home a better environment for her. The carpet in the master bedroom has been replaced with hardwood, a new bed purchased. The master bath has been gutted in is in the process of being remodeled. All of the other rooms have been cleaned and rearranged top to bottom. I can't find anything. It's like come home to somebody else's house.
