Jim, thanks for your concern. My mom just had a mastectomy this morning and is actually doing quite well. Of course there is still the concern of treatment(chemo/radiation) but at the moment we're just focusing on her recovery after surgery. She actually says she feels better after the mastectomy now that the mass in her breast is gone and she is eating, talking, and even joking around. Every time someone post such a kind caring comment it gives me a warm, happy feeling. Thanks
