I am sorry to hear about your wife. I wish you both the very best.
If you feel that you can, you should try to discuss this subject with your wife. She may have similar feelings but has been avoiding the topic just because you haven't said anything. Body consciousness is a huge issue here. Who knows? She may surprise you.
I am 50 years old so I understand somewhat. My wife, the most beautiful woman in the world, is halfway through radiation therapy as of today.
