It is much eaiser for them to lay down then big horses. Even though Arbians are not that big. The barn where I ride and board my horses at, only the smaller horses lay down. The others you will see sometimes on the ground but only for a short time. It is hard for them to breath when they are laying down. (that is what I heard)
