Posted by Long, Long Ago FOR EXAMPLE: When did I say I don't watch the news? When did I say I was pro war? When did I say I was pro Bush? When did I dismiss facts like so much sand? SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU: First: Do you care what I think, or have you already decided what I think? Second: Is it possible to have a discussion without resorting to labels, diatribes, and doctrinaire rhetoric? Third: Is it possible that your version of "truth" may be flavored by your personal likes and/or dislikes? Fourth: I am willing to be instructed, not preached at, dismissed, or belittled. Are you? Fifth: you say all sorts of evil is based on lies and greed. It it too much to expect you to identity the specific lies and evidence of the greed? Your answers will determine whether I make another post.

You make too many assumptions, and it seems that you are far too dismissive of any but your own views. You make may statements about which you are obviously passionate. Being passionage is OK with me, I am about many things as well. A few things need to be cleared up.
(If you conclude that I don't watch the news because I don't trust CNN to be objective, you make an unwarranted assumption.)
(I don't recall saying much of anything about the war.)
(If you conclude I am pro Bush because I won't call him evil and greedy, you make an unwarranted assumption.)
(You may not conclude that I have dismissed anything unless I tell you I have dismissed it.)
