Subject:A reply to "Baruch Koresh"
Baruch, "blessing"...a servant of the prophet.
It is true that the opening of the Seven seals begins the judgement upon the land, and that Judgement begins at the house of God. Their is overtone in most presentations of this judgement which overlooks three very important factors.
ONE
The Wrath of God will not be poured out upon the church, it will be poured out upon the world.
Often their is "Go get 'em God" kind of overtone to messages of coming judgement. A time of fingerpointing, and then usually a boast of self absolution.
When judgement befalls the land, all, not some, not the wicked only, but ALL shall suffer.
**Joel Blow ye the trumpet in Zion that ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE LAND TREMBLE...AT THE DAY OF THE LORD"
During WW2, there were those Jesw who would endure and survive the holocaust. I have yet to see one survivor rejoice that the event took place, sure they were gratefull to have survived, but not one has come forward and Said, "You know, that Hitler,...wow, Thank God that happened."
No, it is with tears in thier eyes that those wo endured the harshest of attrocities and survived bring into account the events. And as much hatred must have coursed through their veins, not once have I heard an account to which such an individual would go on record and cite that they would wish those events upon another generation, even to slay every last remnant of the Nazi regime. Not one.
Seven angels, holding seven vials, shall visit Mt. Carmel and....wait a second, that doesn't sound familiar, perhaps I misquoted, maybe it states they shall visit Calvary Bapti...no, maybe it was Baylor,no not Baylor, hmmmm let's see, Loma Linda,no...The Vatican, no...

The wrath of God is to be poured out upon the land, upon the earth, and the collective population shall suffer, and the collective population, not this denomination, or that denomination, the righteous alongside the wicked shall suffer. Sure there will be survivors. But there will be no rejoicing over the judgement to the generation who endures the same, they are called survivors for a reason.
I don't care to witness such things. I don't really think you do either. Such as it is, we may nevertheless be at the threshold of dire events. "God, please send us revival."
*****
The judgement weighs heavier with the house of God, because they have the first news of it's approach, the are the stewards of hope, prolonging the inevitable, maintaining a last revival, holding the hand of God at bay in such matters, in hopes that just one more sould might be won, that one sinner might repent, and that One, just one righteous soul might be found in the land. "For one righteous soul..."
obtaining mercy for the entire human race.
But ultimately, they will fail. Such is the song of Moses.
The very prescence of the latter Day Elijah, was to avert such judgement. To hold at bay the curse which would befall this world by "turning the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers"
as stated in the last chapter of Malachi. But even so his very presence, by nature of the virtue of God, that his word shall not fail, is indicative that the Judgement of God is near.
A judgement which shall befall a single generation, but shall be the result of addressing the sins of many generations which came before it.
****visit ..to the 3d and 4th gen
This will not be a glorious thing for any.
Those with any heart for God do not wish such things upon the land. They strive for just the opposite, to obatain mercy and blessing upon this world.
*****quote from the seven seals manuscript letter to the FBI*****
It is easy to call for judgement on an individual or a community of individuals for the attrocities it inflicts upon another individual, or group. Easy as outsiders with no self reflection in such matters, nor benefit of the reservations which the same reflection would bring.
David Koresh himself in the Seven Seals Manuscript harbored hopes of Judgement being averted, much as Yeshua prayed, "Father Forgive them, for they know not what they do."
But simulataneously those having the mind of Christ, the Mark of God sealed in their minds, know that ultimately such hopes are only prolonging the inevitable.
Revelations 1:1 sums up the entire purpose of the Book of Revelations, and in a single passage of scripture, the same verse sums up the entire Song of Moses as presented in Deutoronomy.
Revelations 1:1 reveals that it's purpose is to equip the servants of Christ with the knowledge of the truth of the events which MUST, not might, but MUST shortly come to pass.
That they might first understand that ultimately the judgement of God will come, and that having been equipped, the sins of the generations which came before, they would know it must come, they would know "why." Equipped with the knowledge of their own sins they might remain humble, and be praised first, having thier righteousness brought into account, they might consider theymselves blessed and not cursed as a terrible time of trouble would play out in front of their very eyes.
That they might, know that surely, the Judgement of God would not last until the last human occupant of this world was slain, that they would have the promises of God in the midst of tribulation, knowing that surely he would "shorten the days, that some flesh might be saved", that they might "comfort one another with these words."
As the Angels of God stood in the Home of Lot, announcing the judgement which was to befall the city, It became all too evident "why" judgement had come. Surely Lot had loved ones outside his own family, friends in the community, business associates, but Lot knew the righteousness of Jah', he knew his own sins, he knew the sins of the land, as he harbored the strangers, giving them refuge and providing safe haven, he knew "why", judgement was necessary.
But it is the effort of the church, those few righteous souls, that this temporary reprieve, this probation is earned. The first thing which is brought into account in Revealtions chapter 2 is not the sins of the Church, it is their righteousness as recorded in chapter 2 in verses 1-3.
And then the church is admonished of it's own short comings that they might remain humble as judgement approaches the land. That they might carry the truth forward in love.
