both the timeline and event specified on the first envelope sealed within the envelope postmarked May, 22. As the first hurricane mentioned by name this season on a particular news broadcast from a nationwide cable station, was also the 2 nd named Cyclone of the Indian Ocean season.
GONU.
I have considered mailing this to a local Meteorologist, but am in prayer about the matter.
I was repeating the same actions as last year for the same reasons, to confront doubt…
The email concerning Andreas path is inside, I will send you the email, but cannot show you the handwritten message as it remains sealed at this time.
I also promised you the next of the four essays mentioned, two of which were sent a couple months or so ago.
A cyclone is another name for a Hurricane. While Gonu was a cyclone and the second of the season for the Indian ocean ( the first was AKASH on –go figure, May 14) Gonu would be reclassified as a SUPER CYCLONIC STORM, the first of it's kind this season, and the equivalent of a catergory 5 hurricane ( also the first of it's kind this season on a global scale—which by the way as these storms intensify will start to be approached globally rather than regionally) Gonu was the worst storm ever on record for the Arabian Penninsula. Most Cyclonic storms in this region have a tendency to be small and dissipate quickly, nothing like what we would call hurricanes, Gonu did a lot of damage making landfall in Oman, and Iran, effecting oil production, I don't guess that will effect food prices any, do you? Have I warned anyone about rising food prices this year, surely not. Anyway if you've been shopping lately you must certainly believe me to have been wrong on that point, seems like they're cheaper in a I'm paying 15% more than 3 months ago kind of way.
Now, lest you think I'm reaching let me reiterate that it was the media, the United States media who first attached the word Hurricane to the storm, citing that a cyclone and a hurricane were the same thing stating that Gonu was basically a "hurricane", I don't recall anyone in the United States media attaching the word Hurricane to Cyclone Akash whose winds barely reached more than 75 mph. AND WHEN WAS IT THAT THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO THIS WERE SET IN MOTION? MAY 14 TH , AND AKASH HAPPENED WHEN? MAY 14TH. .
Guess theres more of that coincidence stuff going on. I wonder, Are coincidences that by nature keep coming back to the same point over and over again still coincidences?
I guess it will be no coincidence when I experience more coincidences, just tonight as North Texas suffers major flooding, I am getting request from TX in phone calls to call of the rain in central Texas, for all things, because of baseball schedules---is it me or is nobody getting the point?
It'll dry up there soon enough, but I don't think they're going to like it. Enjoy the game.
So what about Gonu? Yeah, exactly, well it formed in the Arabian Peninsula on June 1st and reached winds of 195 mph, and I have found some reports of it reaching 260 mph, before and while it would be downgraded to a very severe cyclonic storm, the second of the season( AND THE FIRST CATEGORY 5 STORM GLOBALLY ) It would enter the Gulf of Oman and intensify before making landfall becoming THE FIRST RECORDED TROPICAL CYCLONE IN THE GULF OF OMAN---EVER ! It would be downgraded to tropical cyclone status on June 7 as it hit Iran, and dissipate completely by---JUNE NINTH!
It rained in Fayetteville during the first week of June. I told people verbally the week prior it would and in that timeline, also citing that early in May as I entered Spring Lake NC, as raindrops began to fall upon my windshield with Storm clouds on the horizon, I spoke—"NO MORE RAIN OVER FAYETTEVILLE" within 2 minutes there was no more rain, and it didn't rain again for the rest of May in Fayetteville, it rained around it, came next door, stormed briefly in Harnett and Bladen counties, but not here.
In the last week of June I announced to relatives that Fayetteville would get rain during the first week to week and a half of June, and that I was expecting a Hurricane.
Last week or so a storm front which blew in from the coast, approached Fayetteville then suddenly reversed direction and went back towards Wilmington, not an unprecedented event, but rare, and well, at the least, knowing that this letter would soon be composed, somewhat interesting on an amusing level to myself. Seems like I mentioned in my last email of MAY 14 sent on MAY 16, about praying in the torrential rains of a September 2003 Hurricane which was bound to make landfall on the southern coast of NC and drive a path to Fayetteville, one which turned suddenly and unexpectedly at the last moment and made landfall at the extreme northern border of NC on the NC, VA state line, sparing this state the brunt of what was expected to be for us, and was for others a very devastating storm. I don't know about you, but as much as I missed the rain during May, I didn't worry about any tornadoes hitting Hope Mills.
soon the Midwest will get the break they have been asking for from the rains, it will get drier than they would like it to be, I suggest you start buying rice. I told you a month ago to watch the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. With all that rain they have been getting I guess it would be no surprise if the Missouri River continued to be a problem, have I mentioned that river this year?...Hmmm. anyway guess we'll see.
Lice outbreaks continue.
Wheat is going to suffer on a global scale, the fruit harvest will suffer more—to the point of acknowledged global shortage crisis, if you like fruit as much as I do, I recommend you start buying some in canned form and dried, the fruit prices are about to increase sharply and they wont go down for quite some time. Start weaning away from poultry products. I have asked God to bless the state of Florida, I continue to pray for NC, and the Waco area seems to be getting more than their fair share of Tornadoes this year, I am under the impression that obtaining quality work there has been quite tough for some of the surviving Branch Davidians. Boy is this going to be a long ride...
