We are disgusted with the idea of inbreeding of humans. We tolerate it among "valuable" animal breeds, in order to preserve certain traits. Yet we do it routinely amongst plants, and don't seem to see that there could be problems from doing so. Interesting point. Genes are genes, and plants - like humans - do better when the natural variance is maintained. Just the way God intended it.
