Thanks for the 'heads up'. I know I watched in amazement as the one (read 'uno', #1) onion I bought yesterday along with some other items at a local grocery store rang up at 77 cents--not that big a deal, but c'mon---it's an onion, not a ribeye. There are wild onions that grow in this area, so I am going onjun hunting this weekend! The store manager cited spiraling fuel costs that hike prices, and stated, out of the blue I might add, that next week all rice prices will go up by several dollars per bag (all sizes). Hmmmmm...
