Undoubtedly at some point, Passover, and Ressurrection day will come into question, as I have cited Resurrection day to have been on April 22, 2008, a Tuesday on several occaisions and no one has seemed to challenge such or take note. At this point however some in order to avoid confusion, I address such here.
So does anybody have any idea as to the truth about Ressurection day this year? Was it Tuesday? Was it Monday, or even Sunday?
In Revelations 13, one who has understanding is given the task of making a reckoning.
I will deal with this matter in further detail later, as Pentecost approaches. For now, note that in The days of Moses, a Lunar-Solar Calendar was used by the Jews. In 70 AD, the Jews changed from a Lunar Calendar, again to a Lunar Solar Calendar. John Mentions A reckoning of the "Beast" referencing Daniel, who warned of one who would seek to Change the times and the laws. Daniel had witnessed such.
While the Jews today, use a Lunar-Solar Calendar as they did in the time of Moses, from 587 BC to 70 AD they used a Babylonian Calendar.
The world in the Days of Christ used a Julian Calendar, one which was changed in 1582 to a Gregorian Calendar. The Julian Calendar, was instituted in 46 BC changing from the Alexandrian Calendar.
The answer to the question is Tuesday.
Christ was crucified on PASSOVER DAY. Which this year, while there are two Jewish Calendars to consider, they agree at Passover beginning on Sunset of April 19th. This would make Passover day, fall on the 20th. Christ was crucified on Passover DAY, and so Resurrection Day would this year have been Tuesday, April 22nd.
There are sources which site the day to be the 20th, but they are blinded by the doctrines of Sunday Keeping in thier calculations. Now all of sudden we see the truth of the nature of Sunday Keeping transcending an attack on the old testament saints, to the new testament saints as well.
Now the feast of Unleavened Bread, Began on Friday April 18th at sunset, by Gregorian standards.
This would also be the timeframe for keeping the memorial feast as mentioned on Lew Whites Web page. It seems that in dealing with these issues, I have neglected to convert the audio sermon in a timely fashion. I will see to that now, it should be online by the morning.
