THE ANSWERS...and "DO THEY MATTER?"
Question #3
3.) In another post, placed this very night, "The Shofar has Sounded" I detailed the true Anniversary of Christ's Death, to begain at sunset on WHAT DAY of the 1st Month of the Hebrew Year, on what day in NISSAN/Abib?
Hint:Exodus Chapter 12, Matthew Chapter 26, and of course the post noted above
Okay, depending on the calendar, the Hebrew name for the 1st month will change, to be either ABIB, or NISSAN. This
change occurred during the Babylonian captivity, and some stuck with the change after being freed from Babylon, while others returned to the truth, calling it by the old name. Both refer to the same CALENDAR timeframe.
Christ was Crucified on the 14th day of the 1st month of the Hebrew Year, 14 NISSAN, or 14 ABIB, he was ressurected after 3 days and 3 nights. As the day of the Hebrew Calendar begins at Even, at Sunset, the night would come first.
CHRIST was not Crucifed at night however, he was Crucified during the DAYLIGHT hours, about the 9th hour of the day, or about Sunrise, 6 am, the romanized convention of 12AM changing the days would lead one to believe this event to be about 9am, this is incorrect. We are concerned here with a Hebrew Calendar of events. So, as Christ was crucifed just about daylight, we see, DAY/NIGHT as ONE 24 hour day, to now arrive at approx 6.am on 15 Nissan, day/night to be 2 days to now arrive at approx 6 am on 16 Nissan, and Day/Night to arrive at approx 6am on 17 Nissan.
