Wendi, THE AP have come out officially with this position, THESE ARE NOT SECOND HAND SCARE TACTICS

An official of the AP was on television last night on the Charlie Rose show. Charlie Rose is An US CONGRESSMAN, from N.C. or Senator or some official title of that effect. IT was there I first heard this, these articles I found after, are not SCARE TACTICS, and yes, you are right that is "SEEMS" that by placing this content on YOUTUBE the AP is giving permission, and perhaps they are, you need to listen to the video on the first link provided. This issue is discussed in greater detail, and YOUTUBE, still a LARGE RADIO station, and AFFILIATE of the AP was served with a cease and desist order MONDAY for placing YOUTUBE AP content on it's website and has since had to remove it all. THE AP, is intentionally choosing these grounds to challenge perceptions on "FAIR USE."
