The Shofar sounded just a bit ago here in NC.
Today is 16 Abib, or 16 Nissan, and will be until tommorrow at Sunset. RESSURECTION day, begins tommorrow at SUNSET, 17 ABIB, the beginning of the HEBREW SUNDAY and Sunday in the first hour just after SUNSET In Jerusalem will mark the actual hour and day of the Anniversary of Yeheshua's Ressurection, in the very begginning hours of the HEBREW MONDAY, ABIB/NISSAN 18.
We are mandated by Scripture to COUNT "X" amount of days from that point forward until we celebrate SHAVOUT, or PENTECOST. This year the mainstream of Christiandom will celebrate such in the proper timeframe, but for the wrong reasons. The Feritility cult whose name has been attached to the person of Christ Yeheshua has existed for approx 5000 years. In the year Yeheshua died on the Cross at Calvary, his death passed 25 days after that pagan festival to which now is commemorated with colored eggs and chocalate bunnies. This fact is lost on many or most calling themselves "CHRISTIANS" but then so is his very name.
