Last Week I noted a conversation with Clive and Ron about this topic of the Passover with regards to Calendars and when
14 Nissan actually began.
Okay, I had a conversation with Clive tonight. You see, in investigating the various Calendars concerning the true time of the 1st of Nissan, hence following to the 14th and 15th of Nissan to mark the Seder feast and then PASSOVER, and likewise to commemorate the Death of Christ (14 Nissan) and the Resurrection Anniversary (18 Nissan in the very first Hour of the day{1st hour after Sunset at the end of Nissan 17}) I noted to Clive, each group presented Convincing Arguements for thier points.
This added to my confusion in the matter. I told Him I found one group which Ron Had noted keep a calendar based soley on mathematical computation and dont even consider whether or not a moon is present at all, full, half, quarter, New or otherwise.
I told Clive that I noted one Group had stated that 14 Nissan began last Tuesday March 7 at Sunset, another Thursday March 9th at Sunset, and these were the most popular conclusions. I told him I had come to the Conclusion however that 14 Nissan began Wednesday March 8th at Sunset. And that I had come to this conclusion after reviewing NASA and US Naval Moon calendars which both cited the NEW MOON to have Occured on March 26th. And upon reading scriputure which noted to FOLLOW THE NEW MOON, and that the crowd noting THURSDAY at Sunset were not following the New MOON,but the WAXING CRESCENT OF THE NEW MOON, which occurs an entire day later. I told him I found 3 different groups noting that The 1st of Nissan occurred on March 25th at Sunset(bring them to a Tuesday March 7 Sunset beginning 14 Nissan) another Group, The largest, noting Sunset MARCH 27th as the begginning of the 1st of Nissan (Bringing them to a THURSDAY MARCH 9 Sunset to begin 14 Nissan) but this group was in actuality observing not the NEW MOON, but the WAXING CRESCENT MOON, which occurred the NEXT Night following the NEW MOON.
Clive informed me that I was indeed Correct, that 14 NISSAN began at Sunset on Wednesday March 8. He told me that
the Survivors in Waco gathered at a home of one of the Female Survivors to observe the event. Scripture sets 14 NISSAN to
be a MANDATORY MEMORIAL for all GENERATIONS. It also starts a 8 day timeline, from 14 Nissan to 21 Nissan in which we are to EAT UNLEAVENED BREAD. The first hours of 14 Nissan and the Day are to be used to GET RID OF ALL LEAVEN from ones Home. At the Beginning of 14 Nissan just after sunset, THE SEDER feast is to be held.
Clive noted that President OBAMA was "A DAY LATE." And indeed he was. As Hebrew Customs go, the keep SEDER either 1 or 2 nights. THOSE IN ISRAEL keep it ONLY THE FIRST NIGHT. Those OUTSIDE ISRAEL, keep a Seder on both 14, and 15 NISSAN....NONE OF THEM KEEP 15 NISSAN ONLY! Which tells you Obama and his crowd Observed Thursday
April 9 at Sunset to begin 14 Nissan when in FACT IT BEGAN 15 NISSAN!
I told Clive that US NAVAL reports stated that the NEW MOON was NOT VISIBLE AT ALL, but I recalled it being visible for
just a few minutes. This however I told him after he told me prior that it indeed was VISIBLE but only for about 20 to 30 minutes after Sunset into twighlight and dissappearing COMPLETELY AT DARK! He noted that it is actually visible during the afternoon on that day, but OVERWHELMED BY THE LIGHT OF THE SUN, and only truly visible to the Naked EYE
just about or after Sunset has begun. He notes that "THE FIRST SIGHTING OF THE NEW MOON" is what is important to
observe that THAT DAY is then the first DAY of the month. Now, while it is indeed visible to instruments during the afternoon of March 26, which would be the HEBEREW MARCH 26 that began at SUNSET the day prior on MARCH 25 by Gregorian,
this accounts for one group, who THOUGHT TUESDAY AT SUNSET last week began Nissan 14.
I told Clive the Messianic Jews seemed to be keeping this schedule. But THERE WAS NO NEW MOON When that HEBEREW DAY BEGAN, at sunset on the Gregorian March 25.
Now Clive noted that the PASSOVER actually occured just after an Egyptian Midnight on 15th day of the first month.
AND THAT YOU CANNOT HAVE PASSOVER WITHOUT A FULL MOON.
So, Last THURSDAY on the Greogorian 9th of April, was the FULL MOON. This means the crowd who observed TUESDAY
at Sunset to be the onset of Nissan 14, would then have observed WEDNESDAY AT SUNSET to be the PASSOVER of
NISSAN 15, a NIGHT WITH NO FULL MOON! They would be a full day EARLY! It WOULD ALSO Put the crowd observing THURSDAY APRIL 9th as 14 NISSAN A DAY LATE! Clive quoted Ellen White to say that on the NIGHT (following) which Christ was Crucified the MOON was FULL AND HIGH.
Clive stated that the New Moon is NOT VISIBLE in the DARKENED NIGHT SKY, but is only visible to the naked eye
for about 20 minutes after sunset has begun, with only a very thin sliver of a crescent shining, into twighlight and dissapearing at dark. He notes the follwing night, (THE WAXING CRESCENT of the New Moon) will be viewable for about an HOUR AND
A HALF, into the night sky before dissapearing. He adds that each night following the Moon will set ONE HOUR LATER
each night, until 14 nights later on the 15th THERE IS A FULL MOON. And that is the moon schedule.
SO 15 Nissan is a HIGH HOLY DAY, we are to keep the 14th of Nissan as a Memorial. This would be the PROPER TIME
to Keep the SEDER...as in THE ONLY proper time even though some Jews keep both 14 and 15 Nissan Seder feasts.
15 Nissan, would be BOTH the beginning of the WEEK of unleavened Bread, and PASSOVER, a HIGH HOLY SABBATH.
14 Nissan to 21 Nissan we are to eat unleavened bread, this is NOT a 7 day period, as DAY 14 counts as ONE,not ZERO,
hence it is an 8 DAY period, and the language of Exodus 12 then indicates that 7 of those 8 days there is to BE ABSOLUTELY NO LEAVEN in our midsts.
SO, last week While OBAMA and many Jews were observing Sunset Thursday April 9 to be the onset of 14 NISSAN,
it was actually the onset of 15 NISSAN, not 16 as others believed, and IT BEGAN A HIGH HOLY SABBATH. This would contine to Sunset Friday which would begin the WEEKLY Sabbath. So those observing this timeline, would needed to have
had thier chores done prior to Sunset on Thursday, and enough Meals prepared to cover the timeframe until sunset Saturday.
Christ kept the Seder with his disciples, as the LAST SUPPER, at the first hours of 14 Nissan, following Sunset.
HE was Crucified the next afternoon. Because it was a "PREPARATION DAY"(see scriptr) as scripture called it, (removing the leaven, and getting ready for the HIGH SABBATH..PASSOVER) Christ had to be buried before Dark. By the time his body was
prepared, bathed with oils and perfumes, wrapped in linen, his body was laid to rest just before Sunset on Nissan 14,
to be placed in a borrowed tomb "IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH" (see scriptr) for 3 full days and 3 full nights, to ressurrect in the first HOUR of Nissan 18, a Roman Saturday in 31 AD just after dark, and the DAWNING of the Hebrew Sunday, the day
of the WAIV SHEAF offering, which ALWAYS falls on the 1st Sunday following Passover whether 6 days apart or 1 day apart.
Now as the 1st day and last day of the WEEK OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, the 15th of Nissan, and the 21st of Nissan
are to be "HOLY CONVOCATIONS" or Sabbaths, then This TUESDAY from Sunset, until SUNSET on Wednesday
will mark the Final day of the week of Unleavened bread and a Sabbath.
Now my flight leaves on Thursday morning, very early. So as I live in a bad neighborhood, I need to get all my valuables out of the house, my PC, MONITOR etc and I need to PACK prior to Leaving. There simply will NOT be enough time to do this
on Wednesday after Sunset. Therefore, sometime TUESDAY, I will Go OFFLINE. I will try to Post after arriving in Waco on
Thursday. As I will take my Laptop and the Hotel should have Wireless internet.
