Yes he is. He is picking me up Thursday and we are headed to Waco. We were going to go to TEXAS DPS in Austin, as I had one more hurdle to finalize the name change, but it turns out the courts here signed off on it last week! Just found out today and posted on it elsewhere here in the post "I AM STEVEN BENJAMIN."
His wife had wanted to come this year, but there are matters of expense to consider on both my end, and theirs, as they have Two children, one in Jr. High, and one in Kindergarten (Papa was rollin stone!) And they would have to find a babysitter to the timeframe. Still, I know his wife, and she is persistent, so if she really wants to go, she may well be there this year as well. There is another who posts on this board who is likewise going to attend, and It will be really cool to see them there as well. My Dad has mentioned some motel as well, I guess I will find out for sure Thursday, but I know in any event, I will pay to cover thru the timeframe of Sabbath, and we will likely leave after the Memorial Dinner at whatever restaraunt we all go to. I have a brother in Bryan College station, and we will likely stay with them until Tuesday Morning after leaving Waco. My Flight leaves Austin Tuesday after Lunch.
FYI for all planning to attend and especially for the first time...if you plan to go to the MT. Carmel Property, there is a post offering directions on this board placed sometime on here in the last couple months or so, definitely since January. After reading them you will find Landmarks mentioned in the post, if you visit my MySpace page, there are PICS of those Landmarks on the main profile.

I don't think you will have problems accessing the property on Friday or on Sunday. But can't say for certain. I can say that last year and in years past, the property has been accessible this time of year during DAYLIGHT HOURS. But as Saturday is Sabbath, it may well be closed to the public on that DAY. But again, I can't say with any certainty. If the gate is open, well, the know people will stop by. And usually unless you seek interaction, (even when Clive was on the property)they will leave you alone to look around and take pictures and such.
