There was at least one person who used to post here, if I recall correctly this was circa 2005, and also on the Hidden Manna site when they had a similar message board, who claimed to have been hurt and taken advantage of in some way by those in leadership of that group. I cannot speak for the reliability of that claim, or of this person's further claim that they went to Wellspring (a cult intervention center with ties to the well known researcher Rick Ross) as a result of it. What I do know, is that this person also claimed to contact Marc Breault and John Baranyai at one point, seeking to discredit this message board and everyone who posts here. This claim was later substantiated by a person who contacted me claiming to be John Baranyai.
Again, I cannot speak for whether any of these events really happened. I know only what was told to me by persons using anonymous email services which are impossible to verify. Perhaps it was all an elaborate hoax by someone seeking to discredit this board, or the Hidden Manna site, or both. Perhaps it happened exactly as it was told to me. Perhaps the truth is somewhere between those two extremes, I simply do not know.
What I do know, is that anyone who spends a lot of time on this board, and particularly anyone who wishes to become involved with the Hidden Manna group also, should be aware that this exchange took place.
One never really knows who is on the other end of the conversation on the internet.
