A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to try something New, a way of introducing a weekly
"SABBATH FACT" to offer insights I found to be interesting and especially to those not coming to this message through the SDA. The Seventh Day Adventists are thoroughly indoctrinated and tested on thier knowledege before being accepted into the denomination on public levels as members. I don't really agree with that process, but I do see a great, great volume of ignorance in denominations by thier own followers to truly grasp and comprehend thier own doctrines. Most are simply parroting another. Such doesn't seem to be the case in the SDA. Still, there is some redeeming value in those who are ignorant in thier denominations as thier pre-concieved notions are easily shown to be such in dealing with them.
I wished to pursue adding such an element each week as a teaching tool, but moreso for sake of leisure. One thing I learned in Kung Fu, when people truly, truly enjoy the subject matter, they are more easily taught, and they retain what they learn more readily. SO from time to time, I will be presenting a "Sabbath Fact" and/or a small Trivia in a light hearted fashion with hopes that such is found of yourselves to be both fun, and enlightening.
Happy Sabbath, and Enjoy,
-Steven Benjamin
