I will not be posting a Sabbath Study today, not per se', I have however been instructed to point your attentions to this passage of Scripture for your meditations...PROVERBS 31.
You may note that the opening passages of this chapter offer both prophecy and instruction. Prophecy in the form of blessings promised to certain readers...and I am reminded that last summer, it was pointed to the latter portions of this chapter to another prophecy, pointing out that the Politically Correct view of "GOD" is not necessarily the "CORRECT VIEW." Here we see things promised to the wicked, in verses 20-31. The speaker here is particularly NOT "GOD THE FATHER", you see, the thing noted last summer was to an attitude taken by SHEKINAH, the Mother, The Holy Spirit, here named as "WISDOM" personified in Verse 20.
Last summer the question was raised if I believed God would punish an entire city just because of a single individual...to that, I would say, entire families are recorded in Scripture as being stoned on the sins of one man.
The entire nation of Israel suffered and people died because of the sins of one man, so my answer is yes, I do believe that.
And for any politically correct cat hair stroked the wrong direction...well, consider verse 26 and 27 of this passage, and consider the very identity of the speaker in those verses.
My point here in calling attention to last summers experiences are not to emphasize those, as much as it is the PASSAGE noted in that timeframe, the events which followed, and now the application of the same to our current timeframe as we prayerfully monitor certain locales emphasized of the Spirit in recent months, weeks, and as far out on this board as last year.
There are matters on the table soon approaching, matters of offense not dealt with. It is one thing to Offend the Servant of JAH', but in so doing, the wicked often overlook that in that servants Commission, they do not represent...THEMSELVES, and hence the offence then, is offered to much higher levels. Time is running out...Florida has again come into emphasis, and this summer, as Ike to Texas last summer, I fear may well be a historically catastrophic year for the state. I hope that I am wrong, as I have people I love in the southern part of that state, I guess we shall see. But at more noted levels, well, consider this a Marker....Pray for the righteous still in Los Angeles. And if you are in Los Angeles, you have been warned, strongly, and here again to get out of that city, It would be a shame for you to recall such warnings at a point to late, and to recall such with regret.
King James Version: Proverbs Chapter 1
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
