I have been waiting to hear an update on this. I can tell you the survivors seem skeptical about this film not dogmatically so, but they were supposed to have been consultants for the film and I am sure such will look good on the producer in the credits, but Clive notes they have been consulted very, very little, as in just a few hours at best. So, of those "THOUSANDS OF HOURS", the Texans I am most concerned in being portrayed accurately are those who were living at Mt. Carmel in 93.
