A Summary of the Aug 22 Sabbath Study in Waco.
Yesterday, we discussed Daniel chapter 8. The point of the study was building to the topic of
the 2300 day prophecy. I will offer in this and future summations to the Sabbath Studies attended in Waco a summary outline only and emphasize certain points, if you want more details, I suggest taking measures to that ends, and you may call me if you have my number and I will be happy to go more in-depth in a verbal summation. We went verse by verse through Daniel 8, noting along the way the positions held by other groups, and predecessors such as David Koresh, Lois Roden, Ben Roden and Victor and Florence Houteff. Positions of the SDA, and DSDA were noted of the popular interpretations placed upon the Ram in vs 3 Representing the Persians. Noted by Clive was that Brother Roden noted the 2nd Horn which came up Higher pointed to other symbolic interpretations on the historical events of Daniels day, but a note by Brother Roden that such also pointed that the Persians were going to be saved as well, and that the HORN which came up last actually represented Cyrus. Clive also noted that David taught that Daniel took the book of Isaiah to Cyrus and showed him that his name was prophecied in scripture some 300 years before his victory over Babylon.
