1 Sivan HAPPY SABBATH
Happy Sabbath. This is not only the weekly Sabbath, but as well an annual Sabbath, a High Sabbath.
It is the 1st day of the Seventh Month of the Hebrew Calendar, also called Sivan. The Name SEPTEMBER is a greek word meaning literally “SEVENTH MONTH” which by our Roman observance as the 9th month, points to a time when this was prior to and at some point during the Roman empire likewise noted to be following a similar calendar as the Hebrew.
Today, this even, begins the DAY OF TRUMPS. IT is the one day in all the year, in which scripture declares we are to sound the Shofar, and this evening, and several times throughout this Sabbath approaching sunset tomorrow, God willing, the Shofar will blast 100 times or so, from a small rural community here just outside Giddings Texas. This time begins the ten day period observed by the Hebrews to be “THE DAYS OF AWE” or “THE DAYS OF REPENTANCE” and is to begin a time of serious personal reflection. This months activities and it’s Sabbaths was discussed in more detail in the Sabbath Study of a couple weeks ago, “SEVEN.” And this Sabbaths Sabbath Study, sets to emphasize this immediate, present timeframe, “THE DAYS OF AWE” and it’s topic addresses “SIN,” and I assure you, if you think you know all there is to know on the subject, or it sounds like a typical address of the same,
You may find yourself quite surprised, and upon reading, enlightened for your efforts.
As I type this Sabbath Greeting, in hopes that one day soon, my issues of Inet access will be addressed and I may perhaps once again join you in greater frequency and capacity, but likewise still acknowledging that at some point, I know, the greater emphasis of what I have been given to share, will go forth not online, but in a personal face to face setting, I again as always, to those of you who come here seeking the truth of Jah’ and his righteousness, pray that you find it, and wish you a Happy Sabbath, Shalom.
