I choose not to particpate in light of it's origins. A good source for reference in such matters, on origins to all the Holidays we now observe for that matter is a book by Lew White from Strawberry Islands Press called "Fossilized Customs." It goes into great detail about such things, and if you are devout in your devotion to God, and currently do observe such things as Halloween, it will certainly provoke you to think, and quite possibly to change your mind in such matters. And if you'd rahter not know, then consider what you may be rejecting is not merely a point of view, but in fact truth, and the accountability you undoubtedly know you would be held to once having been exposed to such truth.
