Flea control/Skin Allergy

I had taken my dog to the Vet for a skin condition - Antibiotics and steroids were prescribed, and now I've found she has fleas, not 'infested' but they're there.
Are there natural products I may have around my home or can get locally to apply/give to her instead of making another trip to the vet for more chemicals????
