I quit for about 15 years before restarting, and it was outstanding to start again!
I'd say you should start with a lite cigarette because you really feel it after so many years off. Everything else should fall into place naturally, without the period of unpleasant adjustment necessary when you start for the 1st time ever. It's a pleasant adjustment instead. It doesn't need to be rushed, in fact I recommend dragging it out.
If you can keep it down to a pack a week or less, you can get a lot of enjoyment for a long time. The temptation to do more is always there, and tolerance increases, so your appetite will too. Then you'll revert to your long past consumption level, or even exceed it. It will then be business as usual.
But I'd say start lite, and try to prolong the return to natural levels. It's just more fun that way.
