well, im 18, soon 19, and i can tell i definitely didnt like that my mom and step father found out i smoked when i was like 13 or 14. I got grounded from EVERYTHING and i didnt want to smoke every again since my mom and step dad were anti smokers (although my mom smokes). It was really rough i tell ya that. But inside, i truly wanted to be a smoker, i dont know why, i just did. so obviously parents didnt stop me. i just did it behine their back outside or something. My advice is do u care if she smokes? thats the first thing that matters. If you dont care, then no need to search her room, but if you dont want her to smoke, still dont search her room. JUST asl. its so much better than going through HER stuff. thats not cool. i mean 9 is an early age to start, but still, its rude of the parents to search rooms looking for cigs to get their kids in trouble...thats my two sense...
