There are ways to hide your smoking from your family at first, and it seems you're doing pretty well. However, eventually they will catch on. In the meantime, after a few weeks to a few months of your smoking behind their back, you're not going to find it all that easy to "just quit."
At first, it seems like it should be no problem. You tell yourself that you're still smoking because you just like to. However, that's only part of the truth. Smoking sneaks up on you in that way, and one day you'll notice that you're having a hard time without a cigarette. At that point, it's too late, and you'll then be addicted to one of the hardest habits to quit. Every smoker starts out with pretty much the same story you're going through now. I did when I was around your age, and this year I've been smoking for 30 years. Just something to think about.
