it seems that you have made an informed choice. i'm happy that you have concidered smoking to be something you wish to continue. just remember it has its up and down sides as we have talked about before. i hope you will in time feel the same as many of us do that the pleasures are well worth it.
when it comes time to have 'the' conversation (every smoker i know has had one ) be very adult in the way you talk and handel youself. make sure everyone knows it wasn't pier pressure or a dare or some kind of childish whim, but something you genuinly wanted to do and expierence for yourself. tell them is something you truely enjoy doing and how pleasant you have found it to be. handel yourself with confidence and poise, don't be shaken by an unexpected question or reaction they may have. even if the inital reaction isn't positive, if you state your case well, it will give them time to ponder your request, and maybe wonder where the maturity came form all of a sudden. address any concerns they have with sincerity. reasure them you are mature enuff to be responsible too. if they are willing to give you permission but with some limitations, do the best you can to respect thier wishes. as conditions change a few years down the road, there will always be room to compromise at that time.
i think you are a very intelligent young lady and will pull through this little hurdle with flying colors. the little bump or two you encounter along the way is to be expected. you are going to find life is full of them. i have confidience you will take them all in stride.
i wish you the very best of luck. give my best to your friends too that all will work out well for everyone.

: I have decited that I want
: to become a everyday
: smoker.For the first
: time today I wanted a
: cigarette as soon as I
: got up so i told my
: parents i was going for
: a jog and I went around
: the block to smoke not
: really worring if anyone
: seen me.Then about an
: hour later Megan and
: Heather came over and we
: went for another walk to
: smoke this time we each
: had 3 before returning
: home.Megan says she is
: going to talk to her
: sister about comming out
: to her parents since her
: sister started at 16
: to.All of are very close
: and our moms talk
: everyday so it will only
: be a matter of time
: before my mom will find
: out and ask me if im
: smoking to and at that
: time I wont lie to
: her..Wish me luck im
: sure I might need it

: no doubt you are at a
: crossroads now. you have
: found out how pleasant
: smoking can be and how
: nice it is when you are
: together with smoking
: friends. i know you
: like the social aspects
: of smoking as well as
: the stress relief it
: gives. i'm sure you
: have had fun learning,
: and perhaps even getting
: a few compliments on you
: style too. if you have
: been smokng at parties
: where there are girls
: and guys, i'd be
: supprized if you haven't
: turned a few heads too.
: these are the plus sides
: of smoking that are very
: nice and are probably
: some of the reasons you
: would love to continue.
: its really up to you now
: as to where you want
: this to go. depending
: on how much you smoke,
: addiction will
: eventually come. i don't
: concider that a bad
: thing though. having
: smoked for may years i
: find that part of the
: habit nice sometimes,
: and other a pain in the
: arse, but it is my choice
: to smoke and i deal with
: it in the best way i
: can. i love smoking for
: the most part and
: wouldn't change my
: decision to do so. the
: best realtionships i've
: had were with fellow
: smokers.
: as i said early on
: when you were
: contimplating starting,
: honesty is always the
: best policy. being
: honest with yourself
: about the pleasures you
: have found smoking
: gives,and weighing them
: against the negitives
: that come with it to
: come to your own
: decision to continue or
: not. i know once you
: have expierenced these
: positives, its hard to
: walk away from them,
: weather you are starting
: the addiction process or
: not.
: you may well decide
: that you want to keep
: smoking. if you do,
: thats fine, but its time
: to inform your parents
: that you have tried it
: and have liked it so far
: and would like to
: continue. i think if
: you approach it in an
: adult manner, it may go
: over better than you
: would think after the
: inital shock wears off a
: bit, so don't worry to
: much about it. its my
: understanding that 9 out
: of 10 people live after
: telling thier parents
: they smoke,lol.
: think a litte more
: about it. make an
: informed decision and do
: what you need to do to
: make it happen. i wish
: you only the very best
: of luck in what ever you
: decide.

: I almost got caught last
: night by my mom me and
: Megan were walking to
: the store smoking and my
: mom drove by lucky for
: us we had our cigaretts
: down by our sides and
: she could not see
: them.Then she turned
: around and came back to
: talk to us but after she
: went by the first time
: we put them out
: luckly.So i guess we are
: starting to get more
: carless.But I am finding
: it harded to hide it as
: we pretty much smoke
: when were not at
: school.We are smoking in
: front of alot of our
: class mates now like on
: weekends and at
: partys.So its just a
: matter of time before we
: get caught.So i guess
: everyone was right you
: cant just smoke a few
: aday ater awhile you
: want more and more.It
: all started out we were
: going to try it for fun
: but now i think im
: starting to get addicted
: and I dont want to
: be..What to do..
