See I actually quite like my slightly weaker smokes - what really gives me relief is the Menthoi in my smokes. I could be reasonably happy on very weak smokes so long as I had plenty of them, so long as they had menthol, whereas even really strong non menthol cigs just don't do it for me anymore.
I smoke the odd St Moritz, which are about the only really strong Menthols available in the UK, and they are very lush, but largely I like my smokes a little weaker - At times I'm going to want to sit and smoke four or five in an hour, however strong they are, whether I really []ineed to or not, just because I really like it, and wanting to do so I will. And if I'm going to I don't see any need for those four or five cigs to be full strength.

: I agree. Being very
: addicted to nicotine and
: smoking is a real joy of
: having the habit. there
: is much pleasure in the
: feel of relieving a
: craving by lighting up.
: The best relief comes
: from full flavored
: smokes with plenty of
: nicotine.

: Yeah, don't repeat it
: tomorrow unless you
: really feel like you
: need to again. If it
: becomes a habit then it
: really won't be too long
: before you do need to
: every day. I did that
: and now I do absolutely
: need two when I get out
: of bed, and I really
: don't even feel properly
: satisfied till I've had
: my third one right after
: I get out of the shower,
: and often need to chain
: two, probably more often
: than I have just one,
: and very occasionally
: even three during the
: day now.
:
: For me I wouldn't
: actually say it a bad
: thing - I love smoking
: my cigarettes, weird as
: it might sound I even
: enjoy being very
: addicted, and I'm
: perfectly comfortable
: and happy to be a
: moderately heavy smoker
: (about 24 on weekdays
: and usually nearly
: thirty at weekends), and
: being addicted to
: smoking that many I've
: got the perfect excuse
: to carry on smoking a
: silly number of ciga a
: day, but I am acutely
: aware that if I'd maybe
: exercised a little more
: self control earlier, I
: probably could have been
: just as happy and
: comfortable, and
: healthier and richer
: being a somewhat lighter
: smoker.
:
: And switching up to
: stronger cigarettes
: basically never works to
: keep your smoking down
: for more than a few
: weeks. Once you get
: used to the higher
: amount of nicotine it
: can even intensify the
: addiction, and mean you
: need more full strengths
: than you did lights.
:
: If you are enjoying
: doing it how you are
: doing it, just smoking
: when the cravings stop
: being fun and start
: getting nasty, you'll
: find over time you're
: smoking will probably
: creep up over time, but
: I think part of the fun
: is in letting that
: slowly happen.

: I have been smoking
: since
: Feb. I smoke Marlboro
: lights, and around 4-5
: day. It has been a
: comfortable level. I do
: crave it throughout the
: day, but can hold off.
: It may sound strange but
: I actually like the
: cravings.
:
: Well this morning, I had
: my first of the day, and
: when I was done, I felt
: very strange. My body
: was telling me I wasn't
: done. This was the first
: time I had ever smoked
: two in a row like that.
: I just couldn't stop.
:
: Over the past few weeks,
: I have been really
: thinking about going to
: Marlboro Reds, thinking
: I would like the boost
: in Nicotine.
:
: I wonder if the intense
: urge to smoke two has
: something to do with
: that desire, or if my
: body is just ready to
: move up?
