i'm sure if you have read through past posts you will find several simular stories of moms, daughtes, and famlies that have come to reealize the social bonding smoking has given them. i'm gald you were open enuff to have seen your daughters pleasant reactions to smoking and to be brave enuff to have given it a try yourself. you'll find if you use smoking as a tool, having that first coffee and smoke together in the morning, talking about the comming day, friendships, boyfriends, that your bond will continue to grow by leaps and bounds.
welcome to our marvelous group ! now to convert some of you anti friends, lol.

: Three months ago I caught
: my 16 year old daughter
: smoking. I was always
: anti, and was quite
: upset. But we had a
: long talk, and she
: explained that she had
: been smoking for about a
: year, and was smoking
: about 10 a day. How she
: had hidden from me for
: so long, I don't know.
: Anyway, she lit up a
: cigarette, and I was
: amazed watching her
: smoke. The pleasure in
: her face was obvious. I
: knew I could not ask her
: to stop, and amazingly I
: asked if I could have
: one. We sat there for
: two hours, my daughter
: teaching me, a 42 year
: old woman how to smoke.
: Anyway, long story
: short, I am now a
: smoker. I am smoking
: anywhere from 10-15
: Marlboro Lights a day.
: Our relationship has
: never been better, all
: of the fighting has
: ended. The rest of my
: family finding out I am
: now a smoker has been
: interesting, but I have
: no intentions of
: stopping, I love it to
: much.
