I am so excited for you! You could be entering a new phase in your life! And, there is lots of help available!
1. Age - don't worry about your age, my children were in university before I started playing golf!
2. Weight - this is what I would do..
a. invest in new running shoes and start walking
b. swallow your pride - like I did, raid the piggy bank and join Weight Watchers - enlist the support of your family for this one! WW works - it is a longer process than many but it works!
c. Golf Lessons - I will let Susan Briske, our expert professional give you more info in this area - see her response. When I started, I secretly took a series of 3 lessons as a surprise for my husband.
There are many inexpensive junior programs for your daughter. inquire at your local golf course.
