Hi Jan - good question!
An Executive course is a short course with a variety of par 3, par 4 and/or par 5 holes.
Eighteen hole executive courses are 5200 yards or less, with a par of 65 or less.
Eighteen and nine hole courses are usually regulation, and not executive courses unless stated.
