Did anyone else wtch the Oscars last night? If so any thoughts or comments? The only movie I saw that was nominated for a big award was LOTR, but Moulin Rouge looked pretty trippy, I'm definately gonna have to rent it. Also for those who did watch, does anyone know who that BEAUTIFUL man was sitting between Sir Ian McKellan and Elijah Wood? (McKellan's boy-toy I would guess, but...)
Speaking of trippy, I would have liked to see Memento up for some more awards, (I think it got nominated for editing-but don't quote me on that). It's the best movie I've seen in years and raises a lot of intriguing questions about the nature of consciousness and memory, as well as being one helluva mind-f**k. I highly recommend it! Two thumbs up, Five stars, all that jazz.
